The Association of Foreign Employees in Romania (AASR) is a non-profit entity dedicated to supporting and integrating foreign workers into Romanian society and the labor market.
We offer legal and administrative guidance, multilingual support, and protection for individuals coming from various parts of the world in search of better opportunities.
AASR collaborates with public institutions, employers, embassies, and international partners to ensure safety, transparency, and fairness for all foreign citizens working in Romania.
Our mission
Our mission is to advocate for the rights and interests of foreign immigrants, combating discrimination and exploitation, while facilitating their integration into Romanian society. We are here to provide information, counseling, and support in all aspects related to life and work in Romania.
Our values
Our values of solidarity, respect, and inclusion guide us in our efforts to create a diverse and united community. In collaboration with our partners, we promote mutual understanding and acceptance between foreign employees and local communities.
Our areas of work include informing and advising immigrants about their rights, legal representation and protection against abuse, and facilitating training and mentoring for professional development. We also organize events and activities that bring together foreign employees and local communities, thus encouraging cultural exchange and friendship between different cultures.
We are determined to contribute to a more open and friendly Romania for all foreign citizens who choose to build a life here. Through our collaboration with organizations, institutions and partners, we aspire to bring about positive change and develop an enabling environment for all members of our diverse community.

The Management Team of the Association of Foreign Employees in Romania (AASR) is made up of passionate and dedicated professionals who share the same vision and commitment to supporting and integrating foreign immigrants into Romanian society. This diverse team brings together diverse knowledge, experience and skills to create an effective and empathetic framework for managing all aspects of AASR’s activities.
Each member of the leadership team brings a unique perspective and distinct skill set, thereby contributing to the formulation and implementation of strategies that advance the goals and values of the association. Through their expertise in various fields, from law and consulting to managing non-profit organizations and interacting with international communities, the AASR leadership team is committed to developing innovative solutions to the challenges faced by foreign immigrants in Romania.
