Traffic education, prevention and integration training – AASR | 2025
During 2025, the Association of Foreign Employees in Romania (AASR) organized and conducted a series of road education and prevention trainings, dedicated to foreign employees on Romanian territory, as traffic participants.
Relevant data regarding participants:

- 287 people trained
- 90% of participants work in the delivery field
- 10% work in other fields of activity
The high proportion of participants in the delivery field reflects the reality on the ground. According to AASR estimates, approximately 2,000 couriers are active weekly in Bucharest, carrying out their activity daily on the streets of the Capital.
This means that approx. 12% of active couriers were directly included in these training sessions, interacting weekly with a minimum of 100,000 people (customers, pedestrians, drivers, restaurants and institutions).
Institutions participating in traffic education trainings:
- Brigada Rutieră a Municipiului București
- Inspectoratul General al Poliției Române
- Inspectoratul General pentru Imigrări
- AASR – organizer and coordinator
The trainings were carried out with the direct involvement of Romanian state institutions, as part of a joint approach to prevention, accountability and public safety.

Additional Training Programs Delivered by AASR in 2025

In addition to the road safety component, AASR organized, in partnership with private actors, training sessions on:
- SSM + SU, adapted to the specifics of the activities carried out by foreign employees
- Medical, general hygiene and occupational hygiene standards
- Norms of civic conduct and social integration
- Basic notions of the Romanian language, with an emphasis on functional communication in professional and everyday contexts.
All of this training was conducted in the native languages of the foreign employees, to ensure correct understanding and real assimilation of the information transmitted.
The activities carried out in 2025 are part of an ongoing program of education, prevention and integration, through which AASR actively contributes to public safety, risk reduction and the correct integration of foreign citizens in Romania.
AASR will continue and expand these programs, in collaboration with state institutions and the private sector, for the benefit of Romanian society.
