The AASR Road Safety Training 2026 was held today, 26 February, at the Bucharest Traffic Police Brigade headquarters, marking the first session of the year and the beginning of the third consecutive year of implementation under the institutional partnership between the Association of Foreign Employees from Romania (AASR) and the National Corps of Police Officers, carried out through the Bucharest Traffic Police Brigade.
The session brought together over 50 foreign citizens of Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Nepalese nationality, primarily active in urban mobility sectors such as delivery services. The continued participation reflects both the relevance and the practical necessity of structured preventive education.
Official Opening
The event was officially opened by the Head of the Traffic Police Brigade, Chief Commissioner of Police Ionuț Vlăsceanu, who emphasized the importance of preventive conduct, legal awareness and individual responsibility in maintaining public road safety within an increasingly complex urban environment.

Technical and Legislative Framework
The session was delivered by:
- Chief Commissioner of Police Ionuț Preda
- Police Officer Juravle Anca
- Police Officer Ilie Adrian

The presentations addressed key elements of Romanian road traffic legislation, including right-of-way rules, stopping and parking regulations, as well as the obligations of drivers and riders operating in urban traffic conditions.
Special attention was also given to pedestrian conduct, underlining that pedestrians are equally participants in traffic and that their behavior directly impacts overall road safety.
Practical scenarios and visual examples were used to clarify frequent traffic situations and to ensure a correct understanding of legal provisions.
Linguistic Accessibility
The training was conducted in English. In order to ensure full comprehension for all attendees, interpretation into Hindi was provided by Mr. Khan Muhammad Saad, facilitating clear and accurate transmission of the information presented by the Traffic Police personnel.
