The Association of Foreign Employees in Romania (AASR) announces its affiliation, as a member, with the Bucharest–Ilfov SMEs Employers Federation, following a process of institutional dialogue and an analysis of collaboration opportunities.
This affiliation represents a natural step in strengthening AASR’s role as an active partner in the relationship between the business environment, non-EU workforce, and public institutions. Integration within the federation creates the premises for a structured collaboration, focused on identifying and addressing real challenges in the labour market, particularly in the context of the growing reliance of the economy on foreign workers.
Through this membership, AASR aims to contribute to the development of coherent mechanisms for dialogue and representation, reflecting both the needs of employers and the operational realities on the ground. The experience gained through direct engagement with foreign workers and employing companies enables AASR to bring a practical perspective to the debates and initiatives promoted at the federation level.
At the same time, this affiliation provides an appropriate framework for supporting joint initiatives aimed at increasing compliance, reducing risks associated with recruitment and integration processes, and improving communication among all stakeholders involved.
AASR expresses its readiness to actively contribute to the federation’s projects and initiatives, in the spirit of responsible collaboration, focused on sustainable solutions adapted to the current dynamics of Romania’s labour market.
